I started an account last night with a company called Dopplr. They let you share with your friends, colleagues, and family where you are when you travel. If they participate also it will let you know when you and so and so will be in the same city at the same time. It just came out of beta in December and seems to be a huge hit. I am actually wanting to travel just to test out the service. I have sent invites to a few friends and look forward to taking advantage of this.

I think this kind of thing will really help people stay in touch with acquaintances and business associates more then family or friends, but that is what it was created for, business travelers. I wish this service was around a few years ago when I was flying all over the place all the time.
