Truphone releases Truphone Anywhere aka ver. 4

May 27th, 2008 · No Comments

truphone_logo.jpegTruphone releases Truphone Anywhere also known as version 4.0. This is great news compounded on previous great news coming from the Truphone towers. This new service will add to VOIP calling and offer you great calling rates when you may not be able to make a wifi call like you usually would. This offers both call back and call through optimized by the Truphone client on your device. The beauty is it’s dummy proof. That means you don’t have to think about anything and it just goes about getting you the best deal on your call.

What is Truphone you may ask? In brief and up to this new announcement it is a VOIP and SMS provider for Nokia S60 duel mode phones. That means you can make and receive voice calls and same for SMS. Truphone also has a great forwarding service so if your not registered on their network at the moment a call comes to your Truphone number it will forward to your mobile GSM number.

Thank you to Alistair Campbell the CTO over at Truphone for the overview of the new Truphone Anywhere service.
