I have been using the Aura Mobile BT for a few months now. It is a high quality duel speaker phone created to be a mobile conferencing hub. Instead of having a super expensive conferencing unit someone could purchase the Aura from Spracht. I have used it in a few different environments now and I have been truly impressed. In the car it is adequately loud with the AC down (not off) and the windows up. In the office I have to turn it way down because this little guy can shake the room.![]()
I have had dozens of calls over the Aura and when I ask about the sound quality everyone has told me I sound like I’m on a mobile phone but in a sound proof room. I don’t have any issues with background noise.
As for the battery, it could be better. I honestly think I might have a bum unit, the battery is surprisingly short on talk time. I would love to try another Aura of the same model to see if my review unit is just bad.
The Bluetooth connectivity is good to. It stays connected to my phones just fine, the issue is that it does not usually reconnect automatically. This may be an issue with the Nokia I use or it could be the Aura. Either way, it could use some work.
Lastly, the unit is small, it can easily fit into a briefcase. I took it with me recently when I flew to San Francisco and kept it in my little laptop bag. It’s light and thin.
I’m pretty happy, I just wish the battery would last longer. It does come with a car charger and a wall charger in addition to a secondary mic for larger areas.
