Mobile / Cell Phone Thoughts & Reviews

I am totally awestruck by this video from TED in Long Beach Feb. ‘09.  This is what I’ve been wanting to see for years.  Thanks to my buddy Hillel Fuld for turning me onto this.  For a long time now I have been wanting to see someone do so much more with a mobile phone.  I believe with this technology, the added processing power of newer smart phones, and the ability to include a projector into a handset we could see this in the very near future.  I hope within 3-5 years.  So much of these different capabilities already exist in the form of different mobile phone applications but I have never seen them all built into one app.  All of this along with the addition of trillions of new IP addresses available in the near future and I think we will be seeing this kind of thing soon.  This talk was given by Pattie Maes, please watch it and tell me what your take on it is.  I’m truly interested in your impression.
