Yes i agree the N97 is not a easy phone to get along with but it sure it a nice looking and does all the things i want it to, i also own n95 8gb and i like my white n97 better.
yes the memory and ram is annoying but i still got more then what it came with after deleting a few apps i wont even use.
be even better once new update and i find away of deleting joikuspot and sat nav as already own a tomtom so save memory.

[...] what I think may change things for people is the 5mp camera built in. It is not N97 quality but I think people will start to leave their point and shoot cameras at home and start [...]

Nokia N97 ...I love this phone I have had my fair share of problems some of them being the woefully small amount of ram available to applications and the C drive filling up but on the whole I am happy.

I used to own a Nokia N95 8GB probably the best phone I ever owned, and in comparison this phone is leaps and bounds ahead of N95.

I use web browsing daily, RSS , Bluetooth Audio streaming and video.

My advise to all the users of the N97 ditch Nokia Messaging and Use profmail , Don't use OVI Contacts until they fully fix the memory issues with the phone, and be weary of Nokia Maps as some of that installs into the C drive.

Ngage is rubbish at the moment

And also get Handy taskman

Install all apps into the Mass Storage if possible

I just hope nokia fixes this quickly before the phone becomes a major joke, and they also need to sort out there support which is a joke.
